Same building on Hawkins Ave, same phone number, new equipment and a new dentist who does his own implant surgery.
The practice
For years this address was Dental Arts of Lake Grove. Dr. Daniel Greenberg took the practice over, kept the staff and the phone number, and brought a fully digital workflow into the building.
It is a small team in a plain office across from Village Hall, with parking out front. Nobody is sent between locations for treatment that can be done here.
The stated aim, in his own words, is honest, high-quality dentistry in a place where patients feel like family, and being told what is going on before it happens.

The dentist
Dr. Daniel Greenberg, DDS
Born and raised in Nassau County. A Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA at Binghamton University came before dentistry; the DDS followed at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in 2022, with four years living in Port Jefferson.
After dental school he completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, stayed on as Chief Resident, then finished a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry and Advanced Prosthodontics. That training is why implant surgery, dentures and full-mouth work stay in this office instead of being referred out.
Outside it: his wife and their dog Roger, the Mets, Jets, Knicks and Islanders, golf, racquet sports and country music.
Office technology
The reason the work stays in-house is the equipment.
Equipment is only worth listing if it changes your appointment. Each of these does.
- Planmeca CBCT 3D imagingBone, nerve position and airway in three dimensions. Implant position is decided on this scan, before surgery, not during it. Easier to tolerate than film if you gag.
- TRIOS and iTero Lumina scannersDigital impressions for crowns, bridges, aligners and restorations. No trays and no putty, and a more precise model than impression material gives.
- Computer-guided implant placementThe plan from the CBCT is carried into the mouth by a surgical guide rather than judged by eye.
- Low-radiation digital X-raysLess radiation than film, the image on screen while you are still in the chair, and year-to-year change that can be measured rather than guessed at.
